Brett Dickson has been working in the Skylight Industry for almost 10 years. He started his working career in Fitting and Machining for Kirby Engineering. He furthered his education by studying Mechanical Engineering and began to design injection moulding tools for Unique Tooling (some of these tools still manufacture Solatube components today). After studying his Business, Marketing and Management degree, he joined the Solatube Team in 2004, working his way up to National Premier Dealer Manager. He now provides business and technical support to all of Solatube’s Premier Dealers throughout Australia. During Brett’s time at Solatube, he has worked in the Sydney Distributor, Daylight Designs, gaining an understanding of our local business structure, installation and how we interact with customers on a daily basis. Since Brett’s transitioning to dealer development, he has gained an in- depth understanding of the Australian Skylight Industry. He has also worked with Solatube on an International level, allowing him to keep up to date with development and advancements not yet used or required in Australia. While his experience has developed a passion for the technical aspect of Solatube’s advanced Technology, seeing the change daylight can provide to a customer’s home is what keeps him in the Skylight Industry today. “I enjoy working for a Company where you don’t have to sell the Product. When a Customer sees a Solatube installed in our showrooms, it’s performance and quality speaks for itself”.
