The Solatube® Brighten Up® Series is a quality system that has been engineered to make installation as easy as possible; small components are pre-assembled and features such as ‘easy snap’ dome, pre-installed dome spacers, twist-fit ceiling ring and push on/off ceiling diffuser make installation quick and simple. All Solatube® Daylighting Systems come with full installation instructions.
If you choose to fit your Solatube® Daylighting System yourself, you should allow at least 4 hours, particularly if it is your first installation. You will need to carry out some work on your roof, so you should only undertake this part of the installation if you are confident you can do so safely and competently.
Prior to starting the installation, we recommend you read the Solatube® installation instructions thoroughly, read our installation tips and safety advice or take advantage of our FREE Installation Training, and check the latest Health & Safety Guidelines relevant to your state regarding working at height.
Solatube® Daylighting Systems should be installed only into a sound roof; please check that your roof is in good condition prior to installation, if in any doubt please consult a roof specialist prior to commencing work.
