St Andrew’s Parish Primary School is a Catholic school situated in Clayton South, Victoria. A school dedicated to providing an extensive education to its students, St Andrew’s is one of a number of schools who are embracing tubular daylighting systems to reduce energy costs and improve student performance.

This project has very much been an exercise in getting the solid beginnings of an ecologically sustainable, long-term, off-grid family home from a tight budget in a sub-tropical climate. The earthy rendered form of the building emerges from the site, complementing and embracing it’s natural setting.

Queensland Tafe Acacia Ridge Campus an industry-standard building and construction facility which allows for training - across a wide range of different trade areas including painting, decorating, plastering, glass and glazing, tiling, flooring, and roofing.

The Ruffey Lake Park Boulevarde Public Toilets is a refurbished facility with universal accessible toilet cubicles catering to all genders and abilities. A changing place facility will be added in 2023 incorporating Solatube's.

The project room layout demanded the delivery of Daylight to Internal rooms with no windows to the outside. The proposed solution was to provide lighting ducts with False windows internally and through these cast daylight into the internal rooms.

Throughout the school, interiors designed to elicit a soothing, sensory experience whereby the quality of light, temperature, fresh air and acoustics of each space can be easily adapted to individual needs.

Workers spend on average 5 hours and 42 minutes at their desk each day. Today the design of an office can be almost as big a drawcard as the business itself – especially as more employees seek work spaces that are conducive to good health.

Kent Lyon Architect investigated various Daylight systems that would meet their project specific requirements in allowing the Trade Centre to effectively operate during daylight hours without having to turn on electric/artificial lights.  Being a sustainable building a major focus was to reduce energy consumption as much as possible.
